The issue has been causing controversies as some tribes confidently said there won't be any suffering for them, claiming they have enough natural resources to cater for themselves.

Adamu Garba, a former Nigerian senator to his social media handle to tell Nigerians that the richest State in Nigeria is Taraba State. He claimed they have enough water that can generate 3000MW electricity, they have the best cropland, best cattle, best forest, etc.

 Police parades 17 year old female cultist and 12 other suspects in Cross Rivereenage student of Community Secondary School, Ikot Ewa, in Akpabuyo local government area of Cross River State and 12 other alleged criminals have been arrested and paraded by Police in the State.
